Our Story
A Family Affair
DREAM ACHIEVED
The dream to buy and renovate a home on St. John was born after decades of travel to the Caribbean and, after careful planning, this property was purchased in 2004 having had just one owner before, the original builder.
TROPICAL LANDSCAPING & ADDED BUILDING
The owners worked and cultivated the land to create pathways and several tiers of living space which includes gardens punctuated with fruit trees, flowering tropical plants, towering palms and stunning orchids. The home also underwent several iterations of renovations, including the addition of the 3 bed, 3 full bathroom 'Club House' and Pool with kitchenette within the lanai, and was a very successful part-time rental property (as well as the location for extended family holiday retreats) for decades.
RENOVATION
In 2017, Hurricanes Maria and Irma devastated the main house- tearing the roof off and scattering the contents of the home across Fish Bay. Losing the main house was devastating, but allowed the owners to reimagine and redesign the main house and rebuild from the concrete slab up- resulting in this dramatic- and essentially new -main home now standing at 12 Fish Bay, Reef Bay Quarter.

HOUSE SYSTEMS
*GENERATOR: Full House Operational; a massive, 27.5 KW diesel Generator (Tradewinds/Perkins) generator services the property allowing for every system and every Air Conditioner, Refrigerator, Washer and Dryer to function even when the rest of St John loses power.
*FUEL Storage: 500 gallon Diesel storage tank capacity is also present.
*CISTERN STORAGE: 3 concrete, lined, cisterns collect rain water from the roofs of each building; one under each house structure and the third under the pool.
*SEWAGE SYSTEM: Two septic systems (one for each building)
* POTABLE WATER: two sedimentation filters and UV light purification water systems purify drinking water for each house. The Main house features 2022/23 plumbing and electricity, the Club House was built in 2006/2007
*AIR CONDITIONING: Split units in every bedroom of the Lodge and large scale wall mounted units in the Club House, provide added cooling to the already tropical breezes. Newly installed compressors for the Lodge were installed in 2023.
*POOL; saline filtration system under the Trex decking surrounding the pool.

The Home is situated in a residential neighborhood a short drive outside of Cruz Bay, St. John's main town and is part of the Fish Bay Association.
